Beryciforms
Bericiformes formam um grupo ainda pouco compreendido de peixes marinhos carnivoros. Atualmente habitam principalmente águas profundas de zonas tropicais. O Brasil abriga os mais antigos registros fósseis do grupo, datando de cerca de 90 milhões de anos.
Beryciforms forma a group still poorly understood group of carnivorous marine fish. They currently inhabit mainly deep waters of tropical zones. Brazil houses their oldest fossil records, dating to about 90 million years.
